Traditional festival in Laika

An authentic traditional festival is organised by the "Protoporeia" Cultural Association of Laika, on August 14th and 15th, 2026, in the Central Square of Laika.

From 10:00 pm, residents and visitors to the area will have the opportunity to celebrate the 15th of August with traditional music, song and dance, in an evening full of fun and Greek tradition.

Panagiotis Malamas, Leonidas Pachtitis, Iro Konstantopoulou and Paty Zoupina participate in the musical program, promising a special celebration for young and old.

The festival takes place as part of the summer cultural events, with the support of the Municipality of Kalamata, and is a beautiful opportunity for everyone to meet, have fun and keep alive the customs and musical tradition of the place.
