The 16th Balkans Beyond Borders Short Film Festival celebrates the spirit of collaboration with the screening of BBB-Cross Border on Thursday, November 6th, the festival's first day.
The BBB-Cross Border Screening initiative, a simultaneous screening of films, will unite audiences from Timisoara (Romania), Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria), Tirana (Albania), Bitola & Struga (North Macedonia), Pescara (Italy), Prizren (Kosovo), Kalamata (Greece), Bagina Basta (Serbia) and Istanbul (Turkey), where the festival is held, with a unique cinematic experience that transcends borders and different time zones. The BBB-Cross Borders Screening concerns the festival's Competition Program entitled "Unexpected incidents' distortions". The theme of this year's event is "DISTORToΠia - How do you mirror reality?", delving into how we perceive, distort, and redefine reality.
