As part of the Kalamata International Short Documentary Festival, the three-day seminar entitled "Introduction to Oral History" will be held by historian Tasoula Verbeniotis.
There will also be a presentation on filmmaking techniques by the president of the Society of Greek Filmmakers, Giorgos Fredzos. The seminar is addressed both to teachers, as it is a valuable tool in their educational quiver, to History and Archeology students and also to non-specialised audiences, as the seminar does not require special knowledge and skills. Participation is free, and the seminar will take place live at the offices of the Creative Documentary Centre, 11, Benakis str., in the historic centre of Kalamata.
