On Saturday, June 14th, the heart of Olympism beats loudly! The "Olympic Day Run" in Greece sends a global message of the Olympic Values from Ancient Olympia, in celebration of International Olympic Day 2025, with 1.5 K and 4K races for young and old! Following the massive success of the 3rd "Olympic Day Run" in Ancient Olympia, where athletes from 79 countries from all continents participated, the only Olympic Road Race in Greece invites us to participate in the largest Olympic Running Team.

The "Olympic Day Run" is the only worldwide anniversary of the Olympic celebration, designated by the International Olympic Committee to commemorate the revival of the Olympic Games. It is an internationally recognised running event that is held in more than 100 countries worldwide, attracting over 5.5 million runners annually. In particular, the "Olympic Day Run" in Greece is the only Olympic Road Race in our country, which carries the strongest brand name in the world —the Olympic rings. In Greece, it has been organised since 2018 in Thessaloniki and since 2022 in Ancient Olympia, attracting the active participation of Olympic, Paralympic, and distinguished athletes from more than 79 countries on all continents, as well as thousands of runners and spectators.

The organisation of the "Olympic Day Run" in Greece, in the birthplace of the Olympic Games, places our country at the forefront of global Olympic celebrations, highlighting the splendour of the ancient Greek world that gave humanity the most significant sporting event in history.

The 4th "Olympic Day Run" ANCIENT OLYMPIA is being held by the Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki, the International Olympic Academy and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, in collaboration with the Hellenic Olympic Committee, the Association of Olympic Participants, and with the participation of Olympians, Paralympians, distinguished athletes and members of the global Olympic family.
