Messenian Amphictyonia - Cultural Association

The "Messenian Amphictyonia" Cultural Association, based in Kalamata, is the collective expression body of the Messenian associations, not only in Greece but also abroad. Through its cultural work (speeches, folklore and historical exhibitions, book presentations, theatrical performances, etc.), the Association helps to strengthen the bonds of Messenians everywhere, as well as the development of the entire prefecture.

In 2021, the "Messenian Amphictyonia" held celebratory events for the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution. It is also the producer of the dramatised documentary by the Greek-Swedish director Charalambos Tsokas, "Our Κallas".
