The celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force, Archangel Michael, will last five days, from Wednesday, November 6th, to Sunday, November 10th, 2024.
The following events will take place at the 120 Air Training Wing:
From Wednesday, 6th, to Sunday, November 10th 2024, there will be a static and photographic exhibition of aircraft and weapon systems of the Air Force. Unit staff will provide information about the exhibits. Also, a video on the mission of the Air Force will be shown. The static display will include F-16, M-346 Aermacchi, T-2 and T-6 aircraft.
The public can visit 120 PEA on the following days and times:
On Wednesday 6th, Thursday 7th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th November 2024, from 09:00 to 17:00
On Friday, November 8th 2024, from 13:00 to 17:00.
It is noted that the Official Celebration—Doxology will take place in the A/D on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at 12:30.
AIR SHOW PROGRAMME
On Saturday, November 9th, at 11:30, the T-6A "Daedalus" Single Aircraft Air Demonstration Team will hold an air show in the port of Kalamata.
The show may be rescheduled or cancelled due to weather conditions.
As part of the events of the Celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force, Archangel Michael, on November 6th, 2024, Wednesday at 09:00, the 120 PEA, in collaboration with the Municipality of Kalamata, will hold a Memorial Mass in favour of the Messenian Fallen Airmen, at the Monument on Aristomenous Street (opposite the Kalamata Labour Centre).
