"Dance Challenge"-Kalamata Cultural Association

The "Dance Challenge" Kalamata Cultural Association was founded in 2018 with its headquarters in Kalamata. It organises international and local cultural sports events and festivals throughout the Peloponnese. The Association aims to encourage the transfer and exchange of knowledge, create long-term partnerships and opportunities, and promote research.

It is a group effort of artistic bodies, mainly dancing associations in Kalamata and the broader area of the prefecture of Messenia. The Association collaborates with all the other Associations, Schools and art schools in Greece and abroad, while at the same time, it voluntarily frames (for performing arts shows) events of other organisations in all the prefectures of the Peloponnese Region, in collaboration with the Public Benefit Enterprise PolisArt. Many of the Association's events are held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Tourism and the Hellenic Tourism Organisation (EOT). At the same time, they are always supported by the Municipality of Kalamata and the Chamber of Messenia.
