The Messina Theatre Workshop (T.H.E.M.) invites you on a unique theatrical journey into the world of Aristophanes.
The workshop's Teen Theatre Group presents the classic comedy The Birds by Aristophanes, in a translation by Thrasyvoulos Stavrou and directed by Eleni Eftaxopoulou.
Under the guidance of Eleni Eftaxopoulou, the group's young amateur actors bring one of the masterpieces of ancient Greek literature to life, reimagining Aristophanes' timeless humour, imagination, and thought-provoking reflections on society, power, and humanity's dreams for today's audiences.
