Alagonia Cultural Association
According to its statutes, the Association's purpose is to promote the cultural and living standards of the members of the Association and the residents of Alagonia.
The basic principles of the member’s actions are mutual aid and solidarity towards the members of the Community and the development of all kinds of public works related to the beautification and improvement of the village, as well as the preservation of the customs and traditions of the place. At the same time, the association members seek ways to promote agro-tourism and the area’s economic development.
In recent years, the Alagonia Cultural Association has greatly prioritised environmental protection practices and the residents’ self-sufficiency. It aims at the sustainability and viability of the region's ecosystem. Natural farming, fire safety team actions and organising zero waste fairs are some of them.
