Kalamata Mountaineering Association-Hiking in Sella

The Kalamata Mountaineering Association will organise a lovely hike in Sella, Messenia, on Sunday, March 30th. The route will start from the centre of the village of Sellas (altitude 496 metres), 19 km from Kyparissia, and end at the Holy Monastery of Agios Nikitas Sellas, which was built in the 16th century (1593-1610). The Ministry of Culture has classified it as a historical monument and is located at an altitude of 850 meters on the top of Mount Ai Lias.
Difficulty level: 1 (easy, suitable for beginners)
Walking time: ~ 4 hours
