Kalamata Mountaineering Association-Hiking on the Mycenaean Road

On Sunday, May 18, the Kalamata Mountaineering Association will hike in the footsteps of the Mycenaean civilisation, following the ancient path that connected the Acropolis of Mycenae with the Prosymna basin, where the shortest route (Kontoporeia) connecting Argos with Corinth passed.
After the hike, the archaeological site of Mycenae will be visited. Entrance to the site and the museum is free.
A visit to Nafplio will follow, where there will be an optional meeting and walk in Akronafplia with members of the newly established Nafplio Mountaineering Association or free time.
Difficulty level: 1 (easy, suitable for beginners in good physical condition)
Route length: 11 km
Walking time: ~ 4 hours
