On Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, from 17:00 to 20:30, at the "Nikolaos Politis" amphitheatre of the University of the Peloponnese (Entrance from Sfakianaki Street), Eastern Centre of Kalamata, an evening dedicated to Supported Employment and the prospects for employment inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities/autism will be held.
The evening is open to the public and is addressed to employers, professionals, executives of Civil Society Organisations, families and any citizen interested in employment inclusion.
The evening is organised within the framework of the “Working Spotlights” programme* by the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Autism of Messenia, the Employment Integration Department (TEE) of the MARGARITA Special Education Laboratory and Iris Social Inclusion, with the support of the Captain Vasilis & Carmen Constantakopoulos Foundation and the auspices of the Messenia Chamber of Commerce.
Topics:
- The Supported Employment model and its implementation
- The role of the Job Supporter
- The importance of company training
- Job Shadow Action: from theory to application
- Experiences of employees and employers
At a time when businesses are looking for staff and people with disabilities are seeking opportunities, the evening serves as a bridge: it provides clear steps and shares best practices. It shows how inclusion becomes a functional solution for everyone.
