Kazarma is built at an altitude of 343 meters and has about 60 permanent residents. It is located in the "heart" of the prefecture of Messinia and is 20 km from Messina, 21 km from Pylos and 31 km from Kalamata.
The oldest name of the village was Voudoureika. Its current name comes from an old Venetian castle that existed at the site. A short distance from Kazarma, the visitor can see the Polylimnio waterfalls, a green paradise with running water and small lakes.
