The green village of Drosia is 30 km from Kalamata and has about 100 permanent residents. In the village, the visitor can see the traditional houses and the river Mavri Limna that crosses it, giving it a unique colour.
North of Drosia, on the hill, at an altitude of 260 meters, the visitor can visit Ano Drosia. It is a beautiful village full of memories and emotions for the older ones from where small paths start that end in small earthly paradises. The village of Ano Drosia was abandoned in the 1970s.
