The Kalamata Tennis Club is organising the 2nd "Georgios Makris" Open Tennis Tournament, which will take place from August 24th to September 20th at the club's facilities, inviting tennis players and enthusiasts to participate in an exciting and competitive sporting event.
The tournament features the Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, Master, and Men's 50+ categories, offering players of all skill levels the opportunity to compete. Participants will compete for a total prize pool of €2,500, while a raffle with valuable prizes will also be held.
Registration is now open, and interested participants can contact the Kalamata Tennis Club for further information. The tournament aims to become another major celebration of tennis in Kalamata while honouring the memory of Georgios Makris.
