Kalamata Mountaineering Association-Hiking and New Year's pie cutting in Raptopoulo

The Kalamata Mountaineering Association, continuing the tradition of cutting its New Year's cake in the mountainous villages of Messenia, breathing life into these beautiful places, invites its members and friends to the cutting of the association's New Year's cake, which will take place on Sunday, January 25th, in Raptopoulos.
Departure from the association's offices (by bus) at 7:30 a.m. in the direction of Raptopoulos; from there, a hike will take place along a section of the Messenia Trail (8.6 km, approximately 3 hours, suitable for beginners).
Afterwards, the pie cutting will take place, and a traditional meal and dance will follow.
