Efklis-Nemouta Falls/Erymanthos Meanders

Many visitors consider the waterfalls of Nemouta to be among the best-kept secrets of the Peloponnese.
On Sunday, June 7, 2026, nature enthusiasts and members of the "Efklis" Kalamata Hiking and Mountaineering Club will travel to the mountainous region of Ilia to explore, through easy hiking routes, the four waterfalls of Nemouta, as well as the sites known as the "Gate of Paradise," Soufala, Amboula Watermill, and Agios Ioannis.
The excursion will conclude with a swim in the stunning meanders of the Erymanthos River.
Transportation Information and Costs
Departure: 7:30 AM
Meeting point: In front of the AB Supermarket (Psaron & Makedonias Streets, Kalamata)
Transportation: Modern air-conditioned coach bus
Bus Cost:
- €25 for members, students, and children
- €30 for non-members
Additional Cost:
Transportation to the river by farm vehicles (4x4/pick-up trucks): €5 per person
