The Kalamata Mountaineering Association will carry out a winter ascent of the second highest mountain in the Peloponnese, Mount Ziria, in mountainous Corinth on the two days of 17-18/01/2026. The mountain reaches a maximum height of 2374 m and is located for the most part in the prefecture of Corinth, with views, in addition to the rest of the Peloponnese, of the Gulf of Corinth and the high peaks of Central Greece.
The conditions will be winter, and participation requires the relevant equipment and excellent physical condition.
Accommodation will be at the self-managed shelter B' of Ziria, at an altitude of 1,680 metres.

Walking time: 7 +/- hours.
