The Kalamata Mountaineering Association is organising an excursion to the Spanakaki peak of Taygetos on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at an altitude of 2,024 metres.
Spanakaki is located on the central emblematic ridge of Mount Taygetos and is one of the peaks of the famous Pentadachtylos.
The view from there is unique both towards the two prefectures, Laconia and Messenia, and towards Taygetos itself, since from this point all its peaks, gorges, and forests unfold before anyone who climbs there.
