Efklis-Cultural trip to Ancient Epidaurus

On the last Sunday of September, September 27th, 2026, the “Efklis” Kalamata Hiking and Mountaineering Club will visit the Archaeological Site of the Sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus, as well as its Museum.

Once again, the group will enjoy a private guided tour by archaeologist and certified tour guide Ms Angeliki Dontou.

Admission to the Archaeological Site and Museum is free.

DEPARTURE

Meeting point: 6:30 a.m., behind the club’s offices at 56 Aristomenous Street, at the intersection of Psaron and Makedonias Streets, in front of AB Supermarket.

• The excursion program may be modified depending on prevailing conditions, including weather, route difficulty and participants’ abilities, at the discretion of the trip coordinator.
• Please inform the trip coordinator of any health issues that may be relevant to your participation.
• Anyone taking part in the activity acknowledges its requirements and assumes full personal responsibility for their participation.

TRANSPORTATION & COST

Transportation will be provided by a modern, air-conditioned coach.

Bus fare: €25 per person (children €20)
Private guided tour: €10 per person

Total: €35 per person (children €30)

Note: Friends of the club from Athens who meet the Kalamata group at Ancient Epidaurus and join the guided tour will pay €10 for the tour, plus a €5 contribution to the club.
