Companions in-Mount Olympus/Mytikas Peak
Spread the word
The next great adventure of Synodiporoi sti Fysi takes us to the home of the Gods, the majestic Mount Olympus!
For the third time, we return to the magic of Mount Olympus, not simply for a hike, but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Reaching the summit at 2,918 metres (Mytikas) is a remarkable achievement that requires experience, confidence, and determination. However, the true treasure of Olympus is the Plateau of the Muses, at an altitude of 2,700 metres.
There, the landscape transforms into something almost otherworldly, alpine, serene, and breathtaking. Waking up on the Plateau of the Muses, surrounded by clouds, with a panoramic view of Stefani (the Throne of Zeus) and the Aegean Sea stretching out below, is an unforgettable experience that will leave you speechless.
Together, we will experience the unique energy of a mountain that has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, walking through a place where Greek mythology and pristine nature become one.
Important Note:
The ascent to the summit, Mytikas, is demanding and not suitable for everyone, as it requires previous mountain experience and a good level of physical fitness. However, the hike to the Plateau of the Muses (2,700 m) is, in itself, an extraordinary experience. The scenery is spectacular, the views are unforgettable, and the landscape is unlike anywhere else. The trip is absolutely worthwhile, even if you choose not to continue to the summit.
As an expedition to the Mountain of the Gods requires careful planning, including mountain refuge reservations and transportation arrangements, early registration is essential.
