Lambros Fisfis-MUCH BETTER NOW
Spread the word
A monologue that, as always, puts the details of everyday life that connect us under the microscope. For an hour and a half, Lambros overanalyses life, mocks his own existence, complains about almost everything, and then complains about everything else too. With his rapid-fire pace and strong interaction with the audience, Lambros creates, at every performance, a group experience that exists only for that particular night.
With more than 15 years of experience in stand-up comedy, 40 years of life experience, 10 years of marriage, 8 years as a parent, and the soul of an 80-year-old, Lambros finds the hidden comedy in everything around us. Weddings in tiny chapels, strange children’s names, the stages of arguments in relationships, the masochism of camping, the madness of hotel breakfast buffets, Greece’s place in the world, bizarre scientific studies, the lives of parents who no longer have lives because they have children, the absurdities of every diet, what happens when you turn 40, and many other topics of absolutely no importance that occupy his mind, and for some reason he believes they should occupy yours too.
A few words about Lambros:
He started doing stand-up comedy in the Netherlands around 15 years ago. He has presented three solo stand-up comedy shows, “Here’s a Wise Guy,” “Look on the Bright Side,” and “Behold the Light,” all of which sold out wherever they were performed across Greece, Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States. His best-of performance, “That’s How It Is,” presented at the Indoor Arena of Palaio Faliro, became the largest stand-up comedy show ever held in Greece, with an audience of 5,000 people.
He is the creator and host of the television comedy show “Burn the Script,” the screenwriter of the TV series “I Have Kids” and “The €592 Generation,” the host of the comedy panel show “The 100,” the talk show “Night Stories,” as well as the YouTube shows “Big Talk” and “Small Talk.” Among other projects, he hosts the weekly podcast “That’s How It Is” and is the founder and artistic director of Greece’s largest comedy festival, the “Athens Comedy Festival.”
