The Experimental Stage of Kalamata presents the theatrical play “King Gordogan”, written by the distinguished Serbian author Radovan Ivšić.
The production is presented under the auspices of the Municipality of Kalamata and FARIS, bringing to the stage one of the most distinctive works of contemporary European theatre. Ivšić’s play, renowned for its poetic and symbolic nature, explores themes of power, freedom, and human relationships through an atmospheric and deeply allegorical narrative.
The production is directed by Panagiotis Adam, while the music is composed by Giorgos Kouroupos, contributing to the creation of a unique and immersive theatrical experience.
Performances will take place from Monday, July 6th, through Thursday, July 9th, 2026, with a starting time of 8:30 p.m., at the Kalamata Cultural Centre Amphitheatre.
