Grikanta band will bring the special musical atmosphere of the Greek-speaking Italian south to the "Victoria G. Karelia" Greek Costume Collection in a concert on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025.
The power of the rhythm of tarantella pizzica meets the fresh performances of Grikanta in a unique musical experience. The six-member musical group from Thessaloniki, which completes 10 years of presence on the music scene in Greece and abroad, presents a programme with traditional songs from the Greek-speaking villages of Southern Italy, many written in the local dialect (Griko) that sometimes conveys stories from the locals' life, love, and pain and sometimes drags us into their intense dance rhythms.
