The 10th festive edition of the Panhellenic Conference for the Development of Greek Agriculture, entitled "Which CAP do we want in Greece and the European Union?" The Major Agricultural Issues of the Present and the Future" will be held on Thursday, 25th and Friday, 26th of April 2024, at the Kalamata Dance Megaron. The Panhellenic Conference is under the auspices of the Municipality of Kalamata, the Region of Peloponnese and the Chamber of Messenia.
The 10th Panhellenic Conference on the Development of Greek Agriculture, which coincides with the completion of 10 years of the GAIA EPICHIREIN activity in the primary and wider agri-food sector of the country, will inform the conference on the latest developments concerning the planning and implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in Greece and the European Union. Particular emphasis will be given, among others, to issues of sustainability and resilience related to the olive industry.
Antonis Samaras, the former Prime Minister and Member of Parliament of Messenia, will be the honorary speaker of the conference, while Lefteris Avgenakis, the Rural Development and Food Minister, will Make the Central Presentation.
