Karnasi is amphitheatrically built on the mountainside, at an altitude of 491 metres, in a green landscape with running waters. It is 28 kilometres from Kyparissia, 34 kilometres from Kalamata and has approximately 120 permanent residents. The view towards the plain of Messenia is breathtaking, while the village is the ideal destination for hiking and mountain climbing enthusiasts.
In Karnasi, visitors can see the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin and the picturesque church of Agios Nektarios. At the same time, they can cool off in one of the village's stone fountains with crystal clear water from the area's springs.
