The "Charakopio Cultural Association" was founded in 2020 with the aim of promoting the village through a series of cultural activities (traditional dance lessons for children and adults, theatrical play for children, educational excursions, etc.).
Significant achievements of the Association to date are the creation and operation of a lending library and the maintenance and upgrading of the traditional olive mill (in the centre of the village), which operates as a museum.
