The "Avramio Women's Association" was founded in 2006 in an effort to create alternative occupations for the women of the village.
The goal of the Association is the promotion of Avramio and the wider region, as well as the promotion of local agricultural products.
The Association organises cultural events yearly, such as folklore exhibitions, educational excursions, the local Carnival, etc.
A special place is occupied by the "Must Festival", which takes place every year at the end of September, and visitors can try products with must as the main ingredient (must cookies, spoon sweets, cakes, etc.)
