Asia Minor Kalamata Association-Cutting of New Year's Pie

The Asia Minor Association of Kalamata, in collaboration with the Federation of Refugee Associations of Greece and the Green Birds FC, invites the public to the cutting of their New Year's Pie at an event dedicated to memory, tradition, and live musical encounter.
The event will take place on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at 12.30 pm, at the Koukoutsis Events Hall, in Giannitsanika. In a warm and welcoming environment, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy food, wine and a beautiful mood, in a celebration that honours the beginning of the new year with collectivity and culture.
The musical program promises a unique experience, with live music that connects the past with the present. Iro Konstantopoulou participates in the singing, while Konstantinos Velmachos participates in the guitar and vocals. Dimitris Athanasopoulos plays the bouzouki, and Panagiotis Dedosis plays the keyboard, creating a group that will ideally accompany the festive atmosphere.
Admission to the event is 20 euros. The cutting of the New Year's Pie of the Asia Minor Association of Kalamata is an open invitation to all who wish to start the new year with music, company, and respect for the memory of the refugees and the cultural heritage of the city.
