Dance gathering in the Central Square of Kalamata

On Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at 18:00, the annual dance gathering titled “Kalamatiané Mou Aéra (My Kalamatian Air)” will take place at Central Square, Vasileos Georgiou, in Kalamata.
The “TAXIM” traditional music ensemble, known for its deep knowledge and respect for traditional music and Greek folk songs, will accompany the cultural groups. The ensemble consists of: Nikos Papaeliou (clarinet, flute), Kyriakos Markogiannis (lute), Panagiotis Kotsonis (violin), Christos Ladas (santur), Giorgos Kladis (percussion), and Vangelis Kotsou (vocals). The event will be presented by Panagiotis Dragkiotis.
