The Nedon is the river that crosses the city of Kalamata. Few people know the beauties and secrets it hides. And there are many who do not even suspect them… Plane trees, water and steep vertical rocks are some of its beauties. The Nedon River stands out for the large stone dams that were built in the gorge at the beginning of the last century in order to protect the city from floods.
These structures present historical, technical and cultural interest in themselves.
