Creative Documentary Centre-The Engraver
Spread the word
The 3rd Kardamili Art Doc Festival has concluded with great success! For those of our friends from Kalamata who were unable to attend all the screenings, the Kalamata Creative Documentary Centre is bringing festival films to Doc Café for the October screenings.
We start on Friday, October 9th, screening “The Engraver”, a film by Sissy Morphi.
The Engraver
Greece, France, Germany | 2025 | 61’
A journey into the “workshop” of engraver Christoforos Katsadiotis, where traditional engraving meets the moving image. His artistic perspective on society, religion and human nature. The vandalism of his works at the National Gallery by a member of parliament sparked a broad public debate on freedom of artistic expression.
