A creative, cinematic and artistic meditation on the life and work of the legendary pioneer of modern Turkish painting, Burhan Doğançay. Director Eylem Kaftan follows Burhan Doğançay's footsteps, guided by his wife, Angela Doğançay, from her apartment in Manhattan, New York, to his museum in Istanbul. Kaftan discovers an extraordinary woman who supported the artist and devoted herself to his work even years after his death. Against the backdrop of the "whispering walls" of the world that record the winds of social change from the 1960s to the 2000s, Kaftan explores the uniqueness of Doğançay's lifelong work and wonders why it remains relevant even today.
