The small mountain village of Kloni is 24.5 km from Kyparissia and is located near the village of Raptopoulos. It is built at an altitude of 520 meters and has only six permanent residents. In ancient times, the settlement was part of Nestor’s kingdom of Pylos. During the Venetian period, the village was referred to as Cloqni. The settlement is also referred to in various censuses of the Venetian Pronoites of the Venetian Republic.
At the end of the village with the green landscape, a forest ideal for walks in nature begins. Also, in Kloni, the visitor can admire the traditional stone houses (most of which are unfortunately in ruins), as well as the small church of Profitis Ilias.
