The "Cultural Association of Manesis" is based in the semi-mountainous village of the homonymous name, and its goal is the development of the cultural and spiritual level of the region through a series of events and activities (theatrical performances, speeches, sports events, etc.).
Every July, the Association organises the traditional folk festival in the area of the Primary School, while every summer (with the support of the "Messina Health Runners Association"), the "Daiklis Road Race", with a total length of 9 kilometres, takes place.
