In 1985, at the Eleftheria Square, the office building of the then Methoni community was built and later became the base of the Municipality of Methoni.
After the foundation of the Municipality of Pylos - Nestoros it is the base of the Municipal Unity of Methoni.
The Citizen Service Centre is also housed in the building (Tel. 2723028743).
