Saint Lazaros' Church 

In 1954, the cemetery of Methoni was moved to the area of the small church of Agios (=Saint) Lazaros, which was built to cover memorial ceremonies. The cemetery was used until 1985, when it returned to its original and current location.

The stadium for the creation of the cemetery was donated by its owner Dim. Michelis, whose simple and plain tomb is the only one that remains and reminds us that there was a cemetery there once.
