Sygrou Square - Venetian Well
The Venetian well at the Syngrou Square has been designated as a listed, worth preserving monument (Government Gazette 239 / 30-9-1964). It was built in the period of the Second Venetian occupation (1686-1715), it has a diameter of 2.60 m and three slabs of different levels with a diameter of 3.10 m, made of sandstone around it.
Next to the well there is a sign which is a donation of the "Methoni Castle Friends Association" with information about the monument.
