“Come Out to Your Window…” – A Community Music & Social Inclusion Event

A joint initiative of KEFIAP Kalamata and the 2nd Friendship, Solidarity and Culture Club of Kalamata.
KEFIAP Kalamata and the 2nd Friendship, Solidarity and Culture Club of Kalamata, in collaboration with Iasis and with the support of local organisations and citizens, are organising a musical and social event entitled “Come Out to Your Window…” on Thursday, 18th June 2026, at 19:00.
The event is an open invitation for the people of the city to come together through music, singing, and active participation in public spaces. Through a symbolic route featuring traditional serenades and musical performances, participants will have the opportunity to share moments of communication, joy, and collective expression.
The event will include:
- Beneficiaries of KEFIAP Kalamata,
- Members of the 2nd Friendship, Solidarity and Culture Club of Kalamata,
- Individuals supported by Iasis,
- Members of the local community and the general public.
Main Objectives of the Initiative
- To promote social inclusion and participation,
- To strengthen intergenerational communication,
- To combat social isolation,
- To reinforce social bonds and community connections,
- To promote mental well-being and encourage active citizen participation in the cultural life of the city.
This initiative highlights the value of cooperation between social services, community organisations, and local citizens, with the shared goal of creating a city that is open, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone.
Admission and participation are free of charge.
