POETIC ROADS-Honorary tribute to Messenian poet George Markopoulos

As part of the parallel events of the "Poetic Roads" action, organised by the non-profit organisation KALLIERGON syn, a tribute to the Messenian poet George Markopoulos will be held on Friday, November 14th, 2025. Admission will be free, starting at 8:00 p.m. The event will take place at the REGGINA Multi-purpose Hall of the Kalamata Municipal Cultural Centre, which was recently inaugurated. The hall is located on the ground floor, outside the building, with an entrance from Pantazopoulou pedestrian street.
The event was inspired by journalist Maria Tomara, who is responsible for editing and presenting the tribute.
Poems will be read by actor-director Kostas Chalkias and Olga Alexandropoulou, who are related to the poet.
