1st Traditional Dance Festival "San Dance" in Kalamata!

On Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at 9:00 PM, the Kalamata Open Theatre will host the 1st Traditional Dance Festival, "San Dance in Kalamata." This event is dedicated to tradition and culture; many dance and cultural clubs will participate.

The festival will be attended by:

Agia Triada Cultural Association

XENIA Dance Cultural Association

Messenia Cultural Association

Lakonia Folklore Group

Tripoli Folklore Centre

The festival is curated and organised by the Kalamata Cultural Association "Agia Triada", while the event is under the auspices of the Municipality of Kalamata.

The evening will be accompanied by an excellent musical ensemble consisting of:

Zougras Giannis Dovas-Dovios (Zournas)

Gaina Zafiri (Zournas)

Yiorgos Deligiannis (Trumpet)

Kavali (Kimonas Terzidis)

Also, music and chants will have their place of honour, with:

The ticket price is 10€, while admission is free for young people under 17 years old.
