This is a series of musical performances on rebetiko, which will be completed in 7 separate cycles.
Through this journey, we will travel with the Great Songs of the Great Composers of Rebetiko and listen to small, fascinating stories hidden behind the songs, each composer and his life, and most importantly, the stories that the songs tell us.
The First Cycle is dedicated to rebetiko songs of the 1950s-1960s, with creations by the great composers:
Vassilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Chiotis, Giorgos Zambetas, Markos Vamvakaris, Giorgos Mitsakis, Gerasimos Klouvatos, Apostolos Hatzichristos, Stelios Chrysinis, etc.
