ORCHESTRA Association-Cultural Centre
The ORCHESTRA Association—Cultural Centre is based in Mavrommati Ithomi, Ancient Messina, and its object is culture and nature.
Activities (music performances, book presentations, puppet theatre, storytelling, etc.) are held on the Association's premises. They aim to highlight the local cultural character and preserve the region's cultural heritage while also having a therapeutic character (interconnection of man with nature through art).
The ORCHESTRA Association—Cultural Centre also holds three-string bouzouki lessons for children from 7 years old and adults (beginner and advanced groups). The lessons include the development of technique, speed, repertoire, taximi (melodic improvisation), the history of the bouzouki, acoustic practice, etc.
