4th Robotics and Intelligent Systems Festival

The preparations for the 4th Festival of Robotics and Intelligent Systems of the Municipality of Kalamata are in the final countdown. The Festival gathered around 1,300 participants from Greece and abroad. The participants come from Primary and Secondary schools, laboratories of Greek Universities, and Greek-speaking schools in Miami, USA.
The Festival will take place on Saturday, May 10th. It will include two activities and offer free admission to the public.
The first activity's projects will be presented at the Kalamata Cultural Centre in the morning from 11:00 to 15:00. Students from preschool to 3rd grade will be invited to provide solutions to the theme "Oceans & Seas." During the presentation of the projects, young and old will have the opportunity to engage creatively in the space with robotics, construction, survivor games, etc., which will be coordinated by teachers from the Kalamata Municipality's KDAP and the Faris Community Centre.
The afternoon (primary) activity will begin at 17:30, with participation from 75 groups.
The participating teams will have the opportunity to present their creations in the following areas:
Robotics & New Technologies: with free themes from previous Panhellenic or International Competitions, Robotics Olympiads, and if they wish, they can focus on the theme "Intelligent Systems for Smart, Climate and Energy Neutral Cities"
Development of Physics and Chemistry Experiments with free themes.
They will also be able to follow, via the internet, the creations of other remote teams from Greece and abroad, as well as short presentations by representatives of universities and companies active in the New Technologies and Intelligent Systems field.
At the end of each activity, participants will be awarded souvenirs, certificates of participation, medals, prizes, and there will also be many surprises.
