A two-day festival for children’s rights

On Saturday, September 16th (17:00-20:00) and Sunday, September 17th (11:00-15:00), a festival for children’s rights will be held at Fournakeio Spiritual Centre in Filiatra.
The festival focuses on the CD (and vinyl) presentation, “What if We Sing to You? Our Rights Become a Song”, as well as the book presentation, “Do I have Rights? I have Rights” by Panos Christodoulou and Stella Stergiou (MIKRI SELINI Publications). The Head of the Department, Garyfalia Terizakis, will coordinate the event.
Programme
Saturday, September 16th, (17;00-20:00)
Children’s books’ creators, Antonis Papatheodoulou (author) and Myrto Delivorias (illustrator), will animate two parallel artistic workshops for children entitled: “Rights at school” and “Rights at home”. Straight after the workshops (at 19:15), artists Andriana Bambalis, Giorgis Christodoulou, Dimitris Baslam and Labrini Karakostas, together with their musicians, will present the album’s songs.
Sunday, September 17th (11:00-15:00)
Book presentation, “Do I have the right? I have the right” by Panos Christodoulou, Marianna Psychalos, Koula Panagos and Aggeliki Roumeliotou. After the presentation, a children’s workshop will be held entitled: “Let’s build our own city of rights”.
Finally, the following workshops for teachers, parents and librarians will take place:
13:00-14:00: “Out loud reading and knowledge books” with Zoe Koskinidou.
14:00-15:00: “Love for reading and human rights” with Koula Panagos.
