Municipal Cultural Center of Kalamata
The Public Central Library of Kalamata has been operating since October 2004 for educational and cultural purposes.
The Library has over 20,000 books and magazines, of which 13,000 are available to the reading public. There is also a children's department where educational programs, screenings and school visits occur by arrangement. Also, the Library has been provided with a mobile unit that visits schools, mainly in remote areas, in order to lend books, audiovisual material etc., to interested children.
