We are so happy to meet you...–Dance Meeting of Greek Women's Lyceums of the Peloponnese

The Lyceum of Greek Women of Kalamata is organising with great pleasure the Dance Meeting of the Lyceums of Greek Women of the Peloponnese, entitled "A Thousand Welcomes to You...", on Saturday, June 22nd, 2025, at the Kalamata Open Theatre.

The event is expected to be a celebration of Greek folk tradition, featuring the participation of children's and teenage groups from the local Lyceums of Greek Women in Kalamata, Tripoli, Pyrgos, Sparta, Argos, and Kiato.

Young and teenage dancers will present traditional dances from various regions of Greece, highlighting the vitality and richness of our cultural heritage. Through music, dance and traditional costumes, the event aspires to fill the theatre with colour, rhythm and national pride.

The Lyceum of Greek Women in Kalamata, faithful to its purpose of preserving and promoting Greek tradition, opens its doors to friends and visitors for an evening filled with emotion and authenticity.
