The Messenian Writers' Union, the Public Central Library of Kalamata, the Association of Philologists of Messenia and METAIHMIO publications, in collaboration with the bookstore VIVLIOPOLIS, invite you to the presentation of the new book by Kostas Akrivos, NAME OF THE FATHER: DOUNAVIS, on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at 7 pm. at the Cultural Centre of Kalamata.
Maria Mitsi, philologist-historian and member of the Board of Directors of the Messenian Writers' Union, and Polleta Psychogyiopoulou, philologist - writer, organisational secretary of the Messenian Philologists' Association, will speak about the book.
Moderated by Efi Prati, philologist, general secretary of the Messinian Philologists' Association. Philologist - writer Antonia Pavlakou will speak and read excerpts from the book.
Antonis Dretas will play music on the piano.
Kostas Akrivos will answer audience questions and sign copies of his book.
