Neda Waterfalls
The only female river in Greece owes its name to the origins of the God of the Gods of antiquity himself.
According to legend, the nymph and deity of waters, Neda, protected newborn Zeus where the waterfalls are from his father Cronus, who was known to have eaten his children.
Real fairyland with lush vegetation and beautiful waters. The path will lead you from the large stone bridge to the mouth and the church of Panagia, and you will reach the 50m high waterfall with its rushing but welcoming waters inviting you for a swim. Even if it seems a little far away, it is worth dedicating an all-day walk to enchanting Neda.
