The "Valyra Women's Association" was founded in 1997 to upgrade the cultural, educational and spiritual level, not only of the village but also of the entire region.
Every year, the Association organises educational programs on issues related to women and the family, educational trips, speeches, and events with the aim of reviving local customs and traditions, etc.
